Description
This six week, online workshop provides an introduction to writing and research for students engaged in the Semininary's Doctor of Mnistry program. The workshop imagines writing, research, and the theological and pastoral questions that engender them as an integratedparts of an ongoing process of inquiry, reflection, and practice. The primary goal of the workshop is to invite students into that process by providing frames of reference for rigorous study of texts and contexts as well as practical tools for thoughtful learning aobut ourselves, others, the work, and God through our own writing and the writing of others. The workshop fosters a supportive writer-friendly environment conducive to writing, speaking, and reading effectively for dorctoral level investigations in theology and ministry, no matter where a person is on her or his spiritual journey as a writer, theologian, and minister.
