Description
An introduction to John Calvin?s thought in the context of his career as a reformer. This seminar will focus on primary sources to appreciate Calvin?s distinctive voice. Attention to social and political context will inform our analysis of Calvin?s ideas. Supplemental perspectives will come from recent and enduring scholarship.
